Founded in 1992, Charles Edwards has built a reputation as one of the leading designers and manufacturers of 19th and 20th Century inspired English, French and American lighting. From our origins in antiques each light in our collection is inspired by our knowledge and passion for timeless design.
Charles started his career as an antiques dealer in the 1970s, applying his extensive knowledge and discerning eye to creating a lighting collection with over 400 designs characteristic of English Country House style.
Located at our London workshop our in-house design team work closely with your account manager and our craftsmen to ensure that your design needs are technically interpreted to meet the desired aesthetic.
Each of our lights is handmade in Wimbledon, London by expert artisans. Our uncompromising commitment to quality and craftsmanship is evident in the high level of finish of each of our products.

Charles Edwards bought Tile Barn in Northamptonshire, England, in 1986, and spent 18 months transforming the collection of tumbledown stone buildings into an elegantly evolved, unpretentious country home with his wife Julia Boston.
