Charles founded the company with the dream of creating beautiful decorative lighting. Inspired by antique fixtures, Charles tasked the design studio with adapting antique designs into pieces that are technically suitable for contemporary needs.
Each of our fixtures is designed by commission by our in-house London-based design studio. With over thirty years experience, the design studio can tailor the collection to your exact needs, working closely with your account manager and our craftsmen to ensure that your design needs are technically interpreted to meet all required standards as well as the desired aesthetic.
Each light is handmade to order and bears the hallmarks of authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship. Every piece is the result of a collaboration between our design studio and you, shaping our designs and craft to your design needs.

In 1992 renowned designer David Easton commissioned Charles Edwards to replicate a series of antique lanterns for an Island retreat in Nassau, Bahama’s. This collaboration led to the design and manufacture side of the business.
