Screws visible on an installed fixture are finished to match the fixture. Replacement screws carry a short lead time to allow for the finishing process.
In the case of missing screws please check all packaging, and where the fixture has been professionally export shipped, and repacked, contact the shipper in the first instance as they may have the screws at their warehouse.

Before ordering additional chain, please check if the electrical cable on the lantern is long enough for install. If not, rather than rewire the fixture you can order a connection ball finished to match your chain, to hide an electrical connection on the chain.
To order additional chain we need to verify the original order of the fixture as heavier fixtures may have welded chain, whilst lighter fixtures will have open link chain.
If the chain is open link, and can therefore be adjusted on site, only the additional chain length required need be ordered.
If the chain is welded the whole length should be ordered, or the welded chain can be joined with the use of a quick link (a special link of chain that can open and close).
Alternatively, you can order rod with hooks (for interior use), or rod with quick links (for exterior use) to replace chain. To specify rod please provide overall drop from ceiling to bottom of fixture required.

All Charles Edwards designs are designed for use with replaceable light bulbs, which can be selected from different suppliers according to your need.
You will need a light bulb with the correct base type to fit in the light socket. Most Charles Edwards fittings use light bulbs with standard Edison screw bases, for example a product listed as E12/E14 will take an E12 Edison (E) 12mm screw base for the USA or an E14 Edison (E) 14mm screw base for the UK or Europe.
To replace a light bulb, turn off the fixture, allow the light bulb to cool and then remove to check the label on the bulb and lamp holder. It is important not to exceed the wattage as labelled on the fixture.

On Flat Glass please note some designs will have a metal strip on an exposed edge which is finished to match the fixture. It is important to retain and provide this metal strip for use on the replacement. Panels with metal strips are normal on doors, designs with a frosted glass diffuser access panel, such as the Grosvenor Picture Light, Square Box, Rectangular Box, Thin Rectangular Box and New Pyramid Shade.

Please note on Osler, Hurricane and Palmer shades the glass has a metal base plastered to it, which has been finished to match the fixture. These shades carry a short lead time to allow for the finishing process. Due to the hand made nature of the product it is important to confirm certain dimensions.

Please note there are two main styles of candle tube, ‘Straight Candle Tubes’, which may be either card or metal, or ‘French Candles’, which may be either plastic or metal. Wiring is integrated on plastic French Candles, which require rewiring the fixture to replace.

To order a replacement canopy we need to verify the original order of the fixture as heavier fixtures may have larger chains with a larger canopy loop accordingly.
