A smooth satin finish achieved by hand brushing the brass along the contours. The finish will dull over time to a soft gold-brown tone.
Exposure to moisture will eventually lead to a Verdigris patina. Small solder joins may be visible on some lanterns, these grey with age.

For bathrooms we offer a stove lacquer; a clear protective coating baked on top of the finish.
For exterior use we recommend using the finish un-lacquered and maintaining with polishing as needed. Stove lacquer is not recommended for brass for exterior use.
Un-lacquered: To maintain a bright finish we recommend polishing with ‘Brasso’ and a pure cotton cloth.
