Chain attaches to the pendant loop at one end and the canopy loop at the other.
A separate length of straight rod hooks onto the pendant loop at one end and hooks onto the canopy loop at the other.
The pendant can be custom made to hook directly onto the canopy loop. Visually there will only be one length of rod.
The pendant rod and canopy can be supplied as a rigid one piece to prevent any rotation or other movement of the shade.

Hanging Shades can be positioned at various heights on the pendant to reveal as much of the candle arms as required. This adjustment is made on site and does not need to be specified at time of order.
Please note that some hanging shade positions are not achievable with certain designs. For the HS-339 Hanging Oval Drum Shade Light, HS-322 Hanging Square Drum Shade Light, and HS-323 Hanging Hexagonal Drum Shade Light, positions I and II—and close to position III—are achievable as standard. Positions III and IV can only be achieved with a modified bulb-changing procedure or through customisation. Please contact our showroom or your account manager for further advice.
To adjust the height ensure the shade is secured to the pendant by the thumbscrews located at the centre of the struts at top of the shade, prior to handling fixture. Once fixture is installed support shade evenly at bottom metal lip, undo thumbscrews and lift shade up to required height and secure into new position with thumbscrews.
Please note when specifying a custom height pendant, reducing the height may limit the shade position possible. Please let you account manager know what preference of position I, II, III, or IV you would like to achieve when specifying a reduced pendant length.
