This finish is achieved by polishing, oxidising and hand relieving the brass to create an aged look with brown and soft gold tones. The patina will develop organically over time.
Small solder joins may be visible on some lanterns, these grey with age.

For environments with exposure to moisture we offer a stove lacquer; a clear protective coating baked on top of the finish.
Un-lacquered: Maintain with periodic dusting only, do not use synthetic materials as this may scratch the finish. Use no abrasive cleaners.
Stove Lacquered: Wipe clean with a damp pure cotton cloth and dab dry with a pure cotton cloth. Use no abrasive cleaners.
