You may supply your own fabric for use on our soft shades. To ensure suitability your account manager will ask you to supply a swatch of the fabric along with the following information:
• Full name and description of fabric and supplier website product page link.
• Name and size of product fabric will be used on.
• Type of Pleat required.
• Total quantity of product required, so that yardage can be advised.
The Sample must be clearly labelled with:
• The front of the fabric.
• The direction of pattern or weave required.
Your choice of silk is pleat gathered around a metal framework and then hand-stitched and finished at the top and bottom.
All our silk shades may be specified in any colour from the James Hare Orissa Silk range. A sustainable, pure silk handwoven dupion. Produced from yarns naturally intertwined by silkworms cocooning closely together, resulting in an irregular “slubby” thread that gives this silk its unique beauty. Alternatively, silk shades may be specified in any colour from the Henry Bertrand range.
Pleat gathered silk shades have a stretched ivory lining as standard. Different styles of pleats are available, please contact the showroom to discuss your requirements.

Your choice of silk is laminated carefully by hand onto a white backing giving a sleek, contemporary look. Any visible fittings will be white to match the interior.

Cream Card Shades are designed to compliment the design of the light. All fittings are white as standard.
Some of our table lamps come with a Cream Pinprick Card Shade, which have small piercings in a diamond pattern to scatter the light in a pleasing manner.
In order to maintain and preserve the shade we recommend wiping gently with a damp clean soft cloth. Please note direct sunlight may cause silk colours to fade.
