Opal Glass

A semi-translucent white glass which creates a softer, more diffused light. Opal glass is sometimes specified to reduce hot spots created by bulbs.

Chain

As standard this fixture is supplied with 1 meter (40”) of size appropriate chain, finished to match the light.

Rod with Hooks

For indoor use, hanging lanterns and hanging chandeliers can be ordered with straight rod instead of chain. Rod can be finished in any Charles Edwards metal or paint finish.

Quicklink Canopy Loop (no chain)

For spaces with limited height, we offer a custom canopy loop which attaches direct to the lantern loop.

Wind Chains

A hanging lantern with wind chains will minimise any swinging or twisting movement of the lantern in the wind. All chain can be amended in length onsite as required.

Wind Cables

For particularly exposed exterior locations hanging lanterns can be adapted for use with wind cables to minimise any movement of the fixture in the wind. The thin steel cables are a more discreet alternative to wind chains.

Fixed Rod

A hanging lantern with fixed rod will prevent any movement of the lantern. The fixture will be made with the lantern, rod and ceiling canopy as one rigid piece.
