This fixture takes its name from the historic Welsh town from where alabaster outcrops were mined extensively by leading Victorian architects. The simple deep convex dish is adorned with large decorative acanthus leaf finials which are complemented by an attractive ceiling plate featuring ornate botanical motifs.
Alabaster is a form of gypsum, when carved the semi-translucent stone is known for its warm, soft glow. Sourced from Southern Europe the natural white stone has exquisite translucent tones and characteristic variations which are formed during the geological process, ensuring each piece is truly unique.
